Manos Papadakis was born in Heraklion of Crete, in Greece in 1980. His first music steps were in Sitia, where his origin is. He studied the violin with Evmenoula Spithaki, and continued with Iraklis Thanasis and he participated in the small orchestra of Heraklion.
In 1994 he “borns” the band ‘ifesis’ with George Tzortzakis, Makis Fasoulakis, Antonis Tsikandilakis, Mihalis Tampakakis and George Kymionis, and they performed all over Crete. In 1999 he starts studying Philosophy, Archeology and History of Arts at the University of Crete and performs with his friend and composer Odysseas Grammatikakis in music scenes at Rethimnon.
In 2003 comes his greatest music moment when Yiannis Markopoulos chose him as one of his new vocal solists and they performed all around Greece and Cyprus until 2005.

The recording took place at Astra studio in Crete and at “stouNicola” in Athens, started at May 2006, finished in June 2007.
The recording is based in the harmony of the past, the reality of the present and the dreaming of future, with a glance at the roots and an exceptional sound, feelings and smoothness, passion and truth. The following musicians from Greece participate in the recording: George Tzortzakis, Dimitris Neonakis, Nikolas Hristopoulos, Dimitris Giannopoulos, Manolis Kanakakis, Zaharias Spiridakis, Katerina Androulaki, Apostolos Ksiritakis, Hansen Sorren.
