Plays: D-8-12
I’ve been playing my Lakewood D-8-12 for nearly a decade now but this fine instrument’s dynamic range and resonance as well as it’s subtle beauty are a joy to behold every time I pick it up.
I’m a Blues singer with a guitar-style that mixes elements of Delta Blues, New Orleans RnB, Folk and Reggae.
Primarily a slide player – both bottleneck and lap-style – my 12-string Lakewood has proven itself in a wide variety of settings.
From raw, funky Blues to the sweetest slide solos, it’s become an integral part of my sound.
My main tunings are open D,G,C and Cm7.
I perform solo and in a duo with Viennese guitar-player Chris Fillmore. We do our own material as well as a wide variety of songs by songwriters as diverse as Son House, Warren Zevon, Ivan Neville or Keb’ Mo’.
Other projects include: Jimi Dolezal, Meena Cryle, MaryBroadcastBand, Viennese Voodoo, Leroy Emanuel.
