Jonathan Gutmann is a young talented singer song writer from Bavaria and now living in Frankfurt. Every rose has its thorn, that's what tells us his diary. His lyrics are sometimes in German and sometimes in English language, always accompanied by his Lakewood M-14.
Besides concerts in Germany he has been touring Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Jonathan can also look back on a good amount of home recordings that he publishes on the internet. He says, his music style is "acoustic emo folk pop", influenced by acts like Damien Rice, Joshua Radin, Jimmy eat world or Bob Dylan.
On stage he's enchanting people with his distinctive voice and his way of playing guitar. Part of his sound are the loop station and the harp. The style mix invites you to relax and lean back.
Jonathan is one of the foundation members of "Music Brings Healing" and puts himself out for the suffering of mentally ill people. He uses his guitar also in his profession as a care taker in a ward for the acute psychic ill, especially when he needs to conjure a smile in someone's face.
